Hybrid Truck Systems Avaiable For The Future

 

There are a number of medium duty trucks that are coming out with Hybrid versions.  Brands such as Kenworth, Navistar by International, and Freightliner are just a few that have begun production.

 

Many of these trucks can run a PTO compressor in hybrid electric mode.  When the engine shuts off, the electric motor powers the tools and hydraulic lift.  Using hybrid trucks provides a clean advantage.  It saves fuel, while reducing emissions and idle time. These trucks provide quiet operations, which can be useful when working in neighborhood and community sites.  The operation flexibility is particularly helpful in utility applications.

 

Hybrid trucks have the ability to work in union with Boss Industries applications, including our compressor, generator, and hydraulic systems.

 

 

 

Boss Bioguard Is Environmentally Friendly

 

Boss Industries, Inc. introduces its new environmentally friendly lubrication system, BIOGUARD.  In addition to our reuseable oil filters and biodegradable oil, Boss is always on the forefront of creating environmentally innovative applications.

 

BIOGUARD is a high performance, semi-synthetic, readily biodegradable, and non-hazardous hydraulic fluid.  It is intended for severe service, high-pressure applications, and used in a wide range of temperatures, reaching as high as 400 F to as low as–40 F.

 

BIOGUARD demonstrates better wear protection, cleanliness and longer life than conventional petroleum hydraulic oils. BIOGUARD can directly replace petroleum hydraulic fluids, while reducing the environmental impact in the event of a leak or spill.

 

Boss is offering BIOGUARD as an optional alternative to our petroleum based hydraulic fluid.  BIOGUARD, like all of Boss Industries lubrication programs, is used is our lifetime warranty program. Boss Food Grade Oil Is An Alternative

 

The Boss Food Grade Oil 32LL is a custom-blended polyalphaolefin (PAO) of 100 % synthetic bas oils using only FDA approved ingredients in case of incidental contact. This lubricant is a relatively long life lube and formulated especially for rotary air compressors. This oil is biodegradeable and has a life-span of 4,000 hrs or one year.

 

Boss is offering Boss Food Grade Oil 32LL as an optional alternative to our petroleum based hydraulic fluid, which will still be available.  Food grade oil, like all of Boss Industries lubrication programs, can be used in our lifetime warranty program.
